Caring, welcoming, driven, and adventurous, Dr. Major wants patients to feel heard and understand the care they receive. Growing up near the cornfields of Bourbonnais, Illinois, Brooke pursued everything from figure skating and horseback riding to track and field. She originally planned to become a medical doctor, but after shadowing several optometrists, she found the profession she loves. Trading Illinois cornfields for Alaska mountains, Brooke lives in Anchorage and enjoys hiking, skiing, and exploring her surroundings.
